My first First Friday Winnipeg experience (finally, after 5 months in 'peg!) was incredible! I kept wondering why it felt so painless to enter the creative world in Winnipeg (unlike in other cities I lived in) and last night I realized why: the creative community here is very open, welcoming, inclusive, and so so so genuinely supportive! The entire last night just felt like a warm hug on a cold winter night ✨
